Other than spending his time dreaming up plots, Samuel John Diamond is a husband, father, grandfather, and businessman. He and his wife own a farm in Parham, Ontario.
Most weeks when not in Ontario, the author can be seen wandering about Greene Avenue in Westmount, Montreal smoking his pipe.
At other various points in his life, he has been a teacher of the deaf, or a social worker at Shawbridge Youth Centre.
Born in 1948, Diamond attended Sir George Williams University in Montreal.
As part of his charitable work, Diamond sat as President of a camp sponsorship program for children with ADHD, autism, and selective mutism.
