Debora Resnick was born in Montreal in 1939 and was married. She has three children and lots of grandchildren. She has been with her partner for 50 years.

She was a high school history teacher for 7 years and started working at Vanier College in 1975 as Coordinator of Admissions. She became an Academic Advisor in 1991 and retired in October 2021.
