Author Testimonials

"Working with the AOS team to publish my debut poetry collection has been a great experience. I appreciate having a modern, hybrid publisher that offers far more support than self-publishing, with clear communication, thoughtful edits and a well-organized process that stays on schedule. I shared ideas for my book cover and was so happy with how the designer brought them to life. I’m excited to continue the journey."

"I've been at this writing game a long time and I've worked on both sides of the publishing fence - traditional and 'indie'.  The singular quality I've experienced with AOS is one I believe is a core value for writers: Respect, for us as hardworking creative people and especially for the work we do. These days the publishing world has become more about business and less about its original purpose: the sharing of stories and ideas. In my estimation, AOS is still committed to that calling. "

"I will have published four novels with AOS by February 2027. You may ask why I chose this independent publisher. I’ll tell you why. I am certainly a much better writer now. All the commentary and criticism made a huge difference. AOS provides a personalized service. The most important thing is to become an improved artist who makes progress every single novel. That is why I am with AOS."

"AOS has been my publisher since 2023, publishing both my first novel, Conflicts, and my second novel, Wrong Business. I have found the publisher easy to deal with, meeting all my expectations in terms of quality and schedule. Having AOS undertake the final edits, the cover design and the marketing allowed me to focus on writing. For authors seeking something beyond self-publishing, I recommend AOS. "
