Chiara Laricchiuta was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick and was raised by Italian immigrant parents in Montreal. She is a proud Canadian with very strong roots in her Italian culture. Chiara is a college professor and has been teaching English for over 17 years. She has an undergraduate degree in English Literature from McGill University and a Master’s degree in Educational Studies from Concordia University. In addition to teaching, she has been writing creatively for over 25 years.

 

Her first collection of poetry entitled, Recollections of My Soul, was published in July 2023, by AOS publishing.

 

When she isn’t teaching or writing, Chiara loves to travel with her husband and young daughter.
