I was born and grew up in London and was a keen writer from a young age. I have worked in the mental health sector and charity world, and now work in the international development space helping marginalized communities across the world fund and organize for better healthcare, education, and lifestyles. In my spare time I sit on separate panels and boards to support young people diagnosed with Crohn’s disease as well as students with their information literacy respectively. I also hold in high esteem my time spent volunteering for crisis and suicide helplines, something I have done for various organisations for the last 7 years. I am – as you may expect – a keen reader of both fiction and non-fiction, enjoying films, live music, and getting too passionate about board games, much to the chagrin of my friends and family.
