My full name is John Arthur Patric Nadeau, but I've been going by Pat all my life. I grew up in Southern Ontario, going back and forth between St-Catharines and Nigara Falls. I received my Film Studies degree from Brock University, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Advanced Filmmaking from Fanshawe College. After graduating, I moved to Montreal to pursue a career in Film and Television. For the last ten years I have been working in the VFX industry as a production coordinator on movies such as "Alien Covenant", "Godzilla King of the Monsters", and "F1". However, my real passion is writing. Over the years I have written and produced half a dozen short films, and a few short stories. The screenplay for my short film "Alluvion", won the Best Canadian Short Film Award in 2020 at the Nollywood Film Festival in Toronto, and my short story "Goodnight Tommy", was published in the 2018 October issue of Montreal Writes.
