I was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1959 to Armenian parents. My family and I, also lived in Armenia for thirteen years, where I started my first piano lessons, then, in 1975, we moved to Montreal. I was married to my wonderful husband, Alex Arouchian, for 25 years, who was a real estate agent. Unfortunately, he passed away from cancer in 2017, at the age of 63. I also have a son, Christopher, who is now 24. I still teach piano and do accompaniments, but the passion of writing poems and stories have always been a constant companion in my life.
